The RJT/BSM UNION (RJT : Ring Joint Type; BSM : British Standard Milk) was originally designed as a piping connection to meet dairy processing and sanitary standards. The assembly consists of a plain ferrule, a threaded ferrule, a gasket (seal), and a hex nut. Today, it is widely utilized in the milk, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries, and is commonly found in dairy, brewery, and food processing applications across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
